Today, Torquay is one of the most stylish resorts in Britain. Its elegant Victorian terraces, sparkling white villas and famous seven hills, provide the backdrop to a seafront promenade lined with palm trees that match anything that you will find on the French Riviera. Torquay’s waterfront is the focus of life in the town, over one-mile of level area, with an abundance of pavement café’s, pubs, restaurants and nightlife. Car ParkingSpaces for disabled drivers are available in most Torbay Council run car parks. Disabled blue badge holders do not currently receive free parking in Torbay however do receive 1 hour free extra to the time purchased on the pay and display ticket provided that the blue disabled badge is displayed correctly. Torbay Council offers a free yearly disabled parking permit to blue badge holders who are eligible. On Street parkingDisabled blue badge holders are permitted to park on street on a yellow line restriction (providing there is no loading ban in place at the location) for up to 3 hours ensuring that the badge and time clock are displayed correctly and no obstruction is being caused. When parking in a limited waiting bay disabled drivers are able to park for as long as required providing that again the blue badge is displayed correctly. PLEASE NOTE: Disabled blue badge holders do not have dispensation to park in Bus Stops, Taxi Ranks or Loading Bays.

Brixham is a picturesque fishing town and is the least commercialised part of the English Riviera. The narrow streets of the town lead you through a fine array of colour-washed houses to the bustling harbour surrounded by shops selling tourist memorabilia and refreshments, as well as locally caught fish. The waterfront, marina, fish quay and breakwater are all level and accessible.
