Holiday Cancellation Terms & Conditions 2010 We have arranged insurance cover to protect ourselves if you have to cancel your booking or curtail your holiday. Subject to the circumstances falling within the terms of the insurance we have arranged for our protection, we would ourselves be able to refund certain costs incurred by you in connection with the holiday. Otherwise refunds would be at our discretion less administration costs. The insurance only covers bookings of 7 days or more. Short breaks are not covered by this insurance. Residents of UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands only. Accommodation cancelled and NOT covered by the insurance may be refunded, less administration costs, ONLY if the apartment can be re-let for the original dates booked. Any discount made when re-letting the apartment will be taken off the refund. If the cancellation is made by Atlantis Holiday Apartments, due to circumstances beyond our control, and no alternative accommodation is available a refund will be given and no charges incurred. A summary of our insurance follows. Please remember that the insurance is for our protection and the Insurer will not indemnify you. |
| As a result of the holiday being cancelled or curtailed due to: 1. Death, accidental bodily injury, or illness of: a) you and/or any persons with whom you have arranged to travel or meet at the specified holiday establishment b) any close relative or business associate of yours or of any person with whom you have arranged to travel or meet at the specified holiday establishment 2. a) jury service b) witness call c) compulsory human quarantine on the instruction of the Government or any competent public authority d) unemployment through redundancy, after the date of booking and before the commencement date of the holiday e) your pregnancy and/or any person with whom you have arranged to travel or meet at the specified holiday establishment, occurring after the original booking 3. Fire, storm, flood, malicious damage or theft which is the subject of a business or home insurance claim and which occurs at your main residence or business premises within seven days before the commencement of the holiday or at any time after the commencement of and during the holiday with require your presence at home. 4. Occupational posting of which you were not aware at the time of the booking of the holiday 5. Cancellation or curtailment of scheduled transport services due to strikes, riots, or civil commotion, but limited to the cost of alternative transport up to £100.00 for each person for the outward journey, and £100.00 for each person for the return journey 6. The irrecoverable cost of alternative similar accommodation if the holiday is disturbed by excessive noise, substantial loss of visual amenity or any other significant nuisance outside of our control rendering the accommodation unsuitable for holiday purposes, subject to: a) a maximum payment of 150% of the invoice cost of the original booked accommodation b) the disturbance not being in existence or a commencement date publicly announced at the time of booking the holiday c) the disturbance being confirmed as expected to exceed a 24 hour period 7. Your inability to reach the specified holiday establishment: a credit card, or an
Annual Travel Insurance, whether part of a Home Insurance Policy or
otherwise act of terrorism |
