All of the apartments have Visit Britain 4 star rating
Apartments 3 & 4 were awarded a Gold Award
Atlantis Holiday Apartments won a Silver Award in the Access for All category in the Southwest Tourism Excellence Awards 2009/10. The awards celebrate the ‘best in the South West' and aim to promote and reward the leading businesses and individuals in the tourism industry. For Pauline & John Roberts this is the latest is a long line of awards. They won the Silver Award in the Accessible Tourism category 3 years ago and have been finalists for Outstanding Customer Service 2007/08 and Accessible Tourism 2008/09. They are also finalists in this year’s South Devon Excellence Awards for Green Business having won the Best Customer Service Award in 2007 when they were also finalists in two other categories, Green Business and World Class Service. Pauline and John believe that commitment to quality and continual investment has encouraged an increase in business. They endeavour to meet the requirements of their disabled guests as they believe that disability should not prevent anyone from enjoying a happy and memorable holiday on the English Riviera. Two of the six apartments at Atlantis have wheelchair access with a National Accessibility Scheme grading. The judging took account of entry forms, along with a combination of web searches, emails, telephone calls and/or visits, additional evidence, etc. For the winners, they were looking for ‘blemish-free’ businesses, with all elements of their business to an excellent standard and some of them outstanding. To be a winner, given the level of competition, is therefore a very significant achievement indeed. DECEMBER 2009 We are pleased to announce we have been awarded the Green Tourism Business Scheme Gold Award. |
