So glad I took time to read the excellent reviews or might have missed out on a lovely place to stay in Torquay.
No need to repeat as agree with all the good comments. Must say how nice it is to have owners who take a pride in their property and who clearly want their visitors to enjoy their stay with them.
The extra convenience of a therapist available to treat my troublesome back was an added bonus. Only problem is, as the excellent reputation spreads, I do hope that there are some vacancies left when I visit Torquay next year.

Apartment we booked ( Apartment 3) was fantastic for us as a couple with one child. It was even ready 3 hours earlier when than we expected!!!!
The attention to detail, cleanliness of the apartment and the surroundings of the complex were extremely good. The Pool area was very nice, especially in the Sunshine :) and we struggled to keep our 4 year old out of there....

“A fab base to explore Torbay”
We stayed in appt 2 next to the car park. Appartment was very clean and well furnished with all you could need for a self catering holiday. It was lovely to swim in the covered pool whilst it rained outside. Very close to the sea front and railway station, we only used the car once during our stay. Also close to shops but in a very quiet area of Torquay. Would definitely stay here again.

A friend and I have been to “Atlantis” for the second time in succession and we are absolutely thrilled by it! You get a warm welcome, the accommodation is as clean as promised on the Internet, it’s well-equipped and beautifully furnished and it’s very convenient that Pauline and John live in the same house because if you have a question or a problem, you can always get their support.
In addition, we have never experienced a place where the hosts have thought that carefully about the needs of a disabled person: My friend - who cannot walk at all - has no problem to move around, use the bathroom/toilet or get in and out of bed! (In other accommodations “suitable for disabled people” the managers always wondered that my friend cannot make at least a few steps or climb over the rim of a shower unit!). You also get a folder with hints e.g. where to get a wheelchair for the beach.
In a word: We’ll definitely come again!

Very friendly welcome and excellent service throughout the week. Apartment right at the front of the building with lovely views. Area very quiet and safe but within a few minutes walk to local shops. Very clean and well presented, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Lovely pool and garden. Booklet with lots of information including places to visit, and vouchers. A good 30 minute walk to the centre of Torquay but plenty of taxis for a nice night out (about £5). WiFi available (small donation to use), DVD player (with DVDs available from Pauline), CD player and iPod docking station. Overall, an excellent self catering apartment with all the mod cons and in a lovely setting. Would definitely stay here again!

“Couldn't fault it”
Stayed in Apartment 2 with disabled access and couldt fault it, clean, comfortable, modern, accessible. The swiimming pool was great, 5 min walk to beach, friendly , helpful owners, a perfect holiday. Highly recommended
“Best yet”
This was our .best holiday for years entirely due to the right accommodation for a person with a mobility problem. Pauline's welcome and details of everything from how the kettle works to the nearest doctor was much appreciated. Bernard and I,along with Robert, Jane and Sam (in another apartment) felt very much 'at home' and completely safe as Pauline and John live on the premises and are always very approachable. We would recommend anyone with a disability to apply for details of ground floor appartments 1 and 2
We are pleased that the accessible apartments have been such a success with guests and are constantly making improvements e.g. National Accessiblity Scheme NAS V1 (Visual) & H1 (Hearing) achieved this year. Hope to see you again soon.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the Atlantis Holiday Apartments. The apartment was immaculate with good facilities, and we highly recommend the covered swimming pool.
The owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us, and even offered an extensive range of DVDs.

The Apartments were in a nice, quiet location and not too far from the seafront.
Pauline showed us a route to the beach which was mostly level so made it easy with the pushchair.
Great apartment, very clean with everything we could need including Wi-Fi.
Washing machine was particularly useful with 2 young boys, 4 & 2 years.
Pauline and John were on hand if we needed anything.
The pool was ideal with the cover on when the weather was a bit breezy.
Although other people used the pool we had the pool to ourselves which was an added bonus.
Lots of places to visit in the area e.g. Model Village, Living Coasts & Cockington was just round the corner.

“A GREAT PLACE TO STAY”
We were warmly greeted on arrival by Pauline and she couldnt have been more helpful.
My husband has mobility problems and sometimes has to use a wheelchair, What a find, everything you would need. Ramps down to the apartment door ( app 1).
Everything in the apartment designed for the less mobile.
Brilliant wet room with all the grab rails you would need, clear spaces through the dining room to the bedroom for the wheelchair.
Apartment very,very clean and beautifully furnished. Pauline ran through all the things we needed to know about to make our stay enjoyable. A selection of DVD s available from her if needed. A television and dvd player in the sitting room and bedroom .
Although we did not use it, the outdoor pool looked great.Railway station, shops, seafront, all within walking distance but bus stops close by.
Both Pauline and John were brilliant hosts and should be commended for running such a lovely place to stay.

Quiet location and a short walk into town and just up the road from the train station. Excellent hosts, and full of resources and information about the town. Apartment was perfectly clean and very well equipped with lots of attention to detail: salt & pepper, sugar and a few cubes of dishwasher detergent provided upon arrival.
Apartment and bathroom were immaculate and the bedding and towels were perfect. Kitchen is fully equipped. High speed internet (WiFi) was excellent. Parking on site.
Perfect apartment for the week we stayed in Torquay.
"Home from Home and more!"
We arrived at the Atlantis apartments to a warm welcome from Pauline, and who kindly gave us a jug of milk (whilst our milk was defrosting) so we could have a cuppa upon arrival.
The apartment was equiped to a very high standard with everything that a self-caterer could possibly need. The heated undercover swimming pool was a definite bonus and well worth the early morning dash in our cossies; from our ground floor apartment to the pool; a quick swim before breakfast then back to the apartment.
The local shops in Walnut road were easy to find and convenient as was the local public house - The Chelston Manor, with guest ales readily available and good honest food.
All in all a good few days away and thoroughly recommended for any visitors to Torquay.

We stayed the first week in March and had exactly what we wanted, a few days relaxation in an apartment that was home from home. Pauline should be proud of herself for maintaining such high levels of cleanliness and quality, not a shabby thing in sight!

What an excellent find...we rarely stay in apartments because of having two young children and my partners OCD with cleanliness but couldn't fault it.
The space was fantastic, kitchen, living room and massive bedroom.
Spotlessly clean with everything you could need, dishwasher, washing machine...always handy with the english weather! and even dishwasher tablets, foil in drawers simple things made it easy. Could walk to the beaches...even the little ones did not complain and into the harbour. Beautiful on a sunny day.
The owners even had a DVD library so when the little ones were worn out from hectic days building sand castles they would go and borrow a DVD to watch in the bedroom whilst we prepared dinner in the kitchen/lounge...Fabulous
“wish I could keep it a secret”
We stayed over new year - went swimming in the heated pool - it kept my 17 year old son entertained - he loved it and can't wait to go back.
I was amazed at how lovely it was - I visit torquay regularly having family living there and have stayed in many places but this is by far my favourite - well done Pauline.
“Excellent stay”
We stayed in apartment 6 for a long weekend at the beginning of December. We arrived to a very clean, fresh apartment. The owner told us how to use everything and was very friendly and informative, and the book/manual in the flat had details on everything we needed to know, even down to how to use the toaster.
Despite it being bitterly cold outside, we didn't get cold inside as the heating was more than adequate, and the apartment itself was very cosy.
The shower was really good, being in a wet room it was suprisingly easy to clear up afterwards. It was nice, warm and fairly powerful. The entire bathroom was so clean it looked brand new and unused, it was spotless.
There was a pool, but we didn't use it. It's outdoors, but has a cover for colder days so was apparently fairly warm when my partner had a nosey.
There were plenty of tourist info leaflets about museums, zoos etc. And a computer to use + wi-fi.
The building isn't too far from the seafront and shops - it is within walking distance of both. There's some good shopping to be done!
We shall definitely be returning, had a fantastic time.

“Quality Holiday Accommodation in Torbay”
We arrived at Atlantis apartments to a warm welcome from Pauline. She gave us a comprehensive explaination of all the equipment in the apartment that we had booked.
This is definately 4 star plus accommodation.
The apartment was equipped to a very high standard with everything that could possibly be needed to self cater. We stayed for 8 nights: I always overpack for holidays but there was ample storage space for clothes etc.
We enjoyed the facilties of two flat screen tvs ( bedroom and loung area)
The swimming pool in the back garden was enjoyed by us on a couple of occasions.
Robes and towels are provided if required.
Pauline and her husband John live on the premises and were available if we had anything we needed to ask ( we didn't).
On the rare occasions that they were out they always left a message indicating what time they would return. There was a folder provided with all information regarding appliances and tourist information which we found very useful and enabled us to plan our trips out.
The free wi fi also helped us to find further information events going on during our week in Torbay. Although we did some shopping at sainsburys in Torquay on the way - we still found the close proximity of the shops in nearby Walnut rd very convenient - a co-op open from 7am to 10pm daily and a Chinese take away proved very useful.
Main Torquay area - lots of shopping/ restaurants and the Princess Theatre - a 20 minute confortable walk away for us : Torre Abbey beach- 10 minutes.
We enjoyed a few events from the Agatha Christie festival week: Theatre trip - Visit to Greenway. The accommation was full the week we stayed but quiet and relaxing.
An extremely pleasant & enjoyable stay. Your facilities and customer services are excellent.
